Everything You Want to Know for Your Staycation at Estes Park

Bull Elk During Mating Season in Estes Park

Estes Park is a beautiful little mountain town only 60 miles from metro Denver, and it’s growing into a favorite staycation spot for Coloradans. Although its appeal can range from positively rustic, to positively posh, its primary accolades are its natural beauty, affordability, and family-friendly atmosphere.

Throughout this site are pictures my husband and I have taken that exemplify the astounding beauty of Estes Park.  As for affordability, My husband and I spend roughly $120-$180 per night for accommodations (can’t find those rates in Aspen!).  For those looking for a break from the ski-town hubbub, Estes Park is a wonderful solution, and it has many wonderful events and activities all year round for little ones and older ones alike.  Our goal with this site is to provide the most up-to-date information on Estes Park for those seeking to try their much-needed R&R at this little mountain town.  We welcome your comments and suggestions so we can provide you with exactly what you want and need!
